Loren was able to bring me home from the hospital yesterday late afternoon. When the Infectious Disease doctor came into the room, I said, “I want to go home.” He said, “Let’s do it!” Then he proceeded to sit on the end of my bed and casually tell me, “You are a most unique patient. (Where have I heard that before?) We have found absolutely nothing. Every test, of the hundreds we took, has come back negative, BUT you had all the symptoms for Recurrent Salmonella.” (Rather rare, I understand)
“All the vitals, such as liver makers coming down, white blood cells coming up, no more fever, no continued vomiting, no more pain, seems to indicate that the course of medication you were on has taken care of your UNKNOWN disease.” He continued. “I recommend; check with your primary care doctor next week, rest, good food (not hospital gross food), acidophilus, probiotic, mild exercise, and let your body heal itself.” He agreed with me that my body was probably toxic from all the medications I had received in the last week.
So home we came and after a nice long “Thymes” bath, hair washed, clean cozy PJ’s and MY bed, I am on the road to complete recovery from the UNKNOWN SHE VIRUS.
Early in the morning Friday, when I was in such pain and before I knew about my Daddy, Loren read March 31st “Jesus Calling” to me:
“I AM TAKING CARE OF YOU! Trust in Me at all times. Trust in me in ALL circumstances. Trust Me with all your heart. When you are weary and everything seems to be going wrong you can still utter these four words: “I trust You, Jesus.” By doing so you release matters into My control, and you fall back into the security of My everlasting arms.
Before you arise from your bed in the morning, I have already arranged the events of your day. Every day provides many opportunities for you to learn My ways and grow closer to Me.”
You know for sure there were tears, but I say, “I trust You, Jesus.”
Thank you for the abundance of love, concern, prayers, emails, flowers and cards. It made a pretty overwhelmingly emotional time bearable. The Lord has blessed my life with wonderful friends, without whom life would be colorless. God is my Rock and all of you surround me with such blessings.
I love you all.
